Jeanine shared the first event which is Gator Week May 29th – June 3rd from 7 – 4 PM at Wild Florida which is in Kenansville, Florida. This event has free admission, but they ask for a small donation that goes toward a Wild Florida scholarship fund. This fund helps the Osceola County high school seniors pay for college. You get to experience a one-of-a-kind themed event with your family.

Healthy Cooking Demos Coupled With The Perfect Exercise Routine At Hopkins Park

Kristin then announced Thrive Thursday on June 1st with healthy cooking demos together with the perfect exercise routine. We invite you to come find the best path to a healthier and happier you. This event is free and will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 PM at Hopkins Park. You can email parksandrecreation@stcloudfl.gov for more information.

Jeanine then introduced a new event called the Towel Scarf sewing class on June 3rd from 8:30 – 10:00 AM. This event will be held at Southern Roots Antiques at 1105 New York Ave in St. Cloud FL. The cost is $35 per person, and they invite you to come make your own towel scarf. These scarves are convenient to wear in the kitchen or while grilling. This is the perfect time to come and create a unique Father’s Day gift. Ages 7 and older are welcome and no prior sewing experience is needed, and all equipment and materials will be supplied.

A Vacation Bible School will take place on June 5th – 8th at the Harmony Community School Kristin shared. The event is being put on by the Harmony Community Church and will be held from 3 PM – 5 PM. You can register online at https://HarmonyCommunity.church/vbs.

Hurricane Expo June 10th, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the St. Cloud Community Center. You get to speak with emergency first responders and safety vendors. There will be free preparedness items while supplies last and evacuation plans and educational displays as well as giveaways and prizes. The cost of entry is free.

Harmony Florida Summer Market On June 11th At Harmony Town Square

Next up is the Harmony Summer Market. These are great events, with a lot of great vendors participating. It takes place on June 11th from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. It will be held at Harmony Town Square. There are vendor booths available, vendor booths are $25. You can email HarmonyActivityDirector@gmail.com for more information.

Free movie for kids from 10:30 – 12:15 PM at the St. Cloud Community Center. This is for kids aged 12 and under. Children must always be accompanied by an adult. The featured movie is “Finding Dory” and it is rated PG. They will have snacks available, and the cost is free.

Bring your blankets and chairs for the movie in the park on June 17th from 8:00 – 11:00 PM and join us for a night of cinema, food, and fun. This is a free event, and you can email parksandrecreation@stcloudfl.gov for more information.

The Summer Kids Flick on June 20th from 10:30 – 12:15 PM. This is a free movie for kids aged 12 and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The featured movie will be “How To Train Your Dragon”.

Adult Movie Matinee On June 21st At The St. Cloud FL Community Center

The next event is an Adult Movie Matinee. The movie shown will be “Down To Earth” starring Chris Rock and Regina King. The movie is about an aspiring black comic who gets a second chance at life. It will be held on June 21st from 12:30 – 2:00 PM at the St. Cloud Community Center. This is a free event for ages 18 and older. You can email parksandrecreation@stcloudfl.gov for more information.

Then we have Senior Appreciation Luncheon on June 23rd from 1:00 – 5:00 PM. This is a free event sponsored by CM Helping Insurance and will include local doctors, health insurance agencies, music, prizes, and lunch. Space is limited and registration is required by June 15th.

There’s another Summer Kids Flick on June 27th from 10:30 – 12:15 PM. This is a free movie for kids aged 12 and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The featured movie will be “The Princess And The Frog” which is rated G.

Next up is Adult Lunch & Learn on June 28th from 11 – 1 PM. This event is $1.00 per person and will focus on social media safety and awareness. Registration is required by June 23rd to ensure everyone receives a meal. This will be held in the Marina Banquet Hall.

The Young Entrepreneur’s Market for vendors aged 21 and under. If you are a young businessperson and you have just started this is a great venue to showcase your work. This will be held on June 28th from 5-9 PM in St. Cloud.
