Jeanine kicked it off with the first event happening in May in St. Cloud Florida so people can plan to take advantage of the upcoming month’s events.

Jeanine announced the Toddler Open Gym on Monday, May 1st. This is where you can let your little one burn off some energy while enjoying quality time with them as they do what they love to do. This event will be held at the St. Cloud Civic Center and will happen from 10:30 – 12 PM. The cost is $3 per child, per visit. Canvas And Coffee Paint Party At Aroma’s Coffee Shop in Harmony FL

Kristin mentioned next the Canvas and Coffee Paint Party. This event will take place on Friday, May 5th from 6 – 8 PM at Aroma’s Coffee Shop in Harmony. This event is hosted by the Plaid Paintbrush, and you can email them at theplaidpaintbrush@gmail.com for more information. The cost is $30 for a canvas.

Jeanine said Fiesta Cinco de Mayo in Harmony will take place on May 5th from 6-10 PM at Phyre restaurant. It will have an indoor and outdoor courtyard setting, a DJ, top 40’s and up, Latin music, drinks, and food and street tacos.

Kristin then shared that the next event will be the Harmony Summer Market on Sunday, May 7th from 10 – 2 PM in the Harmony Town Square. The address is 3500 Harmony Square Drive. She said there will be a lot of fresh produce, spices, baked goods, crafts, customized items, body care, candles, nutrition, local businesses, food trucks, and more. Harmony Athletic Boosters' 2nd Annual Designer Bag Bingo on May 7th was announced by Jeanine. This event will take place between 2 – 5 PM at the Phyre Harmony ballroom. The cost is $50 per player. If you enjoy bingo, you will love this and if you love designer bags you will love this. This event supports the Harmony High School athletic boosters. Their goal is to provide 15 $1K scholarships next year. So, a worthy cause.

Mother’s Day In The Park At Peghorn Nature Park In Saint Cloud FL

Mother’s Day in the Park is on Saturday, May 13th from 11 – 3 PM at Peghorn Nature Park and is $10 per person. This is a “mom’s only” day out for ages 18 and up. You will get a free floral bouquet for all moms who attend. There will be vendors, DJs, food trucks, door prizes and board and brush workshops available, and a mimosa bar.

Truck and Car Show on Saturday, May 13th from 3- 7 PM at Pizza City. Come show off your rides and support all local business sponsors. There will be a DJ, food trucks, raffles, prizes, food, and drinks with different vehicle class winners. All vehicles are welcome, and it is family and kid-friendly. The cost of entry is free. The address is 3670 Old Canoe Creek Rd in Saint Cloud.

Movie At The Lakefront Featuring “Wonder” Hosted By Parks And Recreation

Kristin reiterated that every Monday in May will be a Toddler Open Gym. This one is on Monday, May 15th. Your kids can run around and burn off some energy while you enjoy quality time with them. This event will be held at the St. Cloud Civic Center and will happen from 10:30 – 12 PM. The cost is $3 per child, per visit. Jeanine then announced the Movie at The Lakefront on May 19th from 7:45 – 9:45 PM. The movie will begin at dusk and run for one hour and fifty-three minutes. The featured movie is called Wonder. This movie stars Owen Wilcon and Julia Roberts. This is a free event hosted by Parks and Recreation.

Next up is the Women’s Empowerment Circle. Join them for discussions, food, mental health, resources, and more. This event will be on Saturday, May 20th from 11 – 2 PM at Hopkins Park at 620 E. 17th Street in St. Cloud FL. This event is free, and you can reach out to Park and Recreation for more information at saintcloudfl.gov.

Jeanine said there will be a Taste of Main Street on May 20th from 6 – 9 PM at the St. Cloud Marina Building. The cost is $25 per ticket. Enjoy an evening of refreshments and small bites showcased by the Eateries of Saint Cloud. This is a great time to walk around and mingle with friends.

Graduation Ceremonies At Osceola Heritage Park In Kissimmee

Kristin said the next event was an Open Market Day on May 20th from 1- 4 PM. There will be fermented foods, a healthy lunch menu, and a bartering network opportunity. It will take place at Traditional Lifestyle Creations at 4999 Disston Drive in St. Cloud FL. This will be a free event.

Kristin announced that Graduation Ceremonies will start on May 22nd at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee. At 6:00 PM will be the Osceola School for the Arts. At Osceola Heritage Park on May 23rd, Poinciana High School is at 1:30 PM and Toho High School is at 5:30 PM. On May 24th we have Liberty High School at 9:30 AM, Harmony High School at 1:30 PM and Osceola High School at 5:30 PM. On May 25th we have Celebration High School at 9:30 AM, St. Cloud High School at 1:30 PM and Gateway High School at 5:30 PM.

Harmony Street Party For Residents Only At 5 Oaks In Front Of The Clubhouse

Jeanine announced the last event which will be Harmony Street Party for residents only. This street party will feature a DJ and dancing, cigar roller, food, and more on May 27th from 7:30 – 10:30 PM on 5 Oaks in front of the clubhouse.
