Video Podcast Announcing The Fun Events Happening In Saint Cloud FL During April
Jeanine shared that the first event happening on Saturday, April 1st. The Easter Eggstravaganza will take place in downtown Saint Cloud, FL. They will have face painting, balloon art, kids’ activities, a scavenger hunt, and a visit by the Easter Bunny. This event will take place from 10 – 2 PM. There will be an egg hunt to follow at Veteran’s Park at 2:30 PM.
Next up Kristin shared the Home School Sneaker Ball event on Saturday, April 1st from 7 – 9 PM. This event is for ages 11- 15. You can enjoy dinner, music, dancing with door prizes, and more. You can email parksandrecreation@stcloudfl.gov. The cost is $10 per person and there is online registration. It will be held at the Saint Cloud community center.
Kids In The Kitchen Taking Place At The St. Cloud Community Center
Jeanine then shared the Toddler Open Gym on Monday, April 3rd from 10:30 – 12:00 at the St. Cloud FL Civic Center. We invite you to let your toddler run out some energy while you enjoy quality time with them doing what they love. The benefits are growth in motor skills and early brain development as well as enhanced social skills.
Kristin said we have Kids in the Kitchen next and that happens every Monday from April 3rd – May 1st from 5 – 8 PM. It is a 5-week program for ages 10-15. This hands-on cooking class is tailored for juniors chefs to learn tips and tricks for cooking fun, easy and multicultural foods. This event will be held at the St. Cloud Community Center. The cost for residents is $70 and $90 for non-residents and you can also register online.
Jeanine then shared the next event which is for the adults. The Moonlight Egg Hunt is on Friday, April 7th for ages 21 and up from 7 – 10 PM. The event will be held at The Ranch located at 5452 Jones Rd. You can contact Parks and Recreation for more information. The cost is $15 per person. There will be music, food trucks, vendors, games, fun, and prizes. Bring a flashlight and wear comfy clothes. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Kids Easter Eggstravaganza Saturday, April 8th At The Ranch In St. Cloud FL
Kristin shared the next event. The Kids Easter Eggstravaganza is on Saturday, April 8th from 10 – 1 PM. This event will be held at The Ranch which will have bounce houses, food trucks, crafts, games, egg hunts, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Registration will begin at 10 AM and the egg hunt promptly at 11:00 AM.
Jeanine added that there will be another Toddler Open Gym on Monday, April 10th from 10:30 – 12:00 at the Civic Center. The cost is $3 per child.
Kristin said there is going to be a Borrow Pit Pond Fishing Derby on Saturday, April 15th from 8 – 10 AM. Bring your fishing pole and tackle and bait will be provided. This event will be shore fishing only. The age groups are as follows. The tadpoles are ages 3 – 5, half pints 6 – 8, and minnows 9 - 12 years old. The cost is $10 per child. Jeanine then shared the Caregiver Resource Fair on Saturday, April 15th from 10 – 2 PM. The event will include community vendors, home maintenance services, home care assistance, education services, keynote speakers, screenings, emotional support dogs, and more. There will be food trucks, raffles, and prizes. This is a free event put on by the city of Saint Cloud Florida.
Kristin announced another Toddler Open Gym on Monday, April 17th from 10:30 – 12:00 at the Civic Center. Help get your kid ready for school. The cost is $3 per child per visit.
Adult Movie Matinee Featuring The Movie Trading Places On April 19th
Jeanine gave the next event which is the Adult Movie Matinee for people 18 and over. The event will be held on Wednesday, April 19th from 12:30 – 2:30 PM. The featured movie will be Trading Places starring Dan Ackroyd and Eddie Murphy. This is a free event for all.
The next event announced by Kristin is an Adult Day Trip to Winter Park on Thursday, April 20th This is an ala carte trip. The fee covers your round-trip pass on the sun rail. The train departs from the station in Kissimmee at 8:45 AM. The return train from Winter Park will depart at 4:30 PM. The cost is $3.00 per person.
Jeanine shared the next event which will be Movie at The Lake Front Friday night April 21st from 7:30 – 10:00 PM. This is a free event. The featured movie is Spiderman No Way Home starring Tom Holland.
The next event shared by Kristin is the Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 22nd which will have eco-friendly classes, paper shredding truck, environmental exhibits, face painting, textile recycling, local vendors, kids’ activities, battery recycling and so much more. This event will be held at the St. Cloud Veteran’s Memorial Library. This will be a free event from 10 – 2 PM. For more information, you can email parksandrecreation@stcloud.org.
Another Toddler Open Gym on Monday, April 24th from 10:30 – 12:00 at the Civic Center announced by Jeanine. For those with little ones come on down. The cost is $3 per child.
St. Cloud FL Monthly Market Event On April 26th
Next is the downtown St. Cloud FL Monthly Market event on April 26th from 5 – 9 PM. Jeanine and Kristin both commented on how this is always a fun event and always worth attending.
Harmony Florida Events In April 2023
On Saturday, April 1st from 3 – 5 PM, there will be the Harmony FL Easter Eggstravaganza. There will be an Easter egg hunt, photo spots with Bunny’s, a DJ, games, face painting, balloon animals, kid crafts, and food trucks. There will be an easter egg hunt for kids 3 and under at 3:00 PM, ages 4 – 6 at 3:10, ages 7 – 8 at 3:20 and ages 9 – 10 at 3:30 PM. This is a free event for Harmony residents.
Kristin announced there will be a Easter service at the Harmony Community Church on Sunday, April 9th at 8 AM. Jeanine said the next event is the Harmony Market which will be on Sunday April 16th from 10 – 2 PM. There will be lots of vendors, food trucks, and lots of things to do. This event is open to everyone.
