December Holiday Events In St. Cloud Florida 2022 To Kick Off The Holiday Season
Jeanine Corcoran, broker of Corcoran Connect, and her co-host Kristin Macari, owner of Studio Nine 13 take you through the long list of December Holiday events happening in Saint Cloud Florida. We welcome you to the 43rd episode of Discover St. Cloud Florida.
Both Jeanine and Kristin commented on how fast this year has gone by. Jeanine said this is the time of year that we love, and it seems that people don’t have any time. She said lately it seems that people just don’t have any time and asked Kristin what she thought. Kristin said she didn’t know and felt that everyone is running in a rat race with no extra time. Jeanine said, like hamsters on a wheel.
Video Podcast Announcing The December Holiday Events In Saint Cloud FL
Kristin asked Jeanine to kick off the holiday events happening in December. Here is the list of the many December holiday events scheduled for this month in St. Cloud as well as Harmony Florida.
Jeanine said the first event will be the city of Saint Cloud FL tree lighting ceremony. Help us kick off the holidays with this ceremony. The tree lighting will be held in downtown St. Cloud in Centennial Park which starts at 5:00 PM. There will be musical performances, tree lighting, and visits with Santa. Downtown Saint Cloud FL Holiday Festival On December 3rd & 4th
The Saint Cloud Holiday Festival will be held downtown on December 3rd & 4th. This will be the 44th annual holiday festival and they are calling for crafters, artists, and vendors. There will be free parking, festival food, and local dining. Kristin added that this is a great opportunity to go out and have some fun and support the downtown businesses.
Jeanine said on Saturday, December 3rd will be Rocking Around The Christmas Tree, a downtown St. Cloud Christmas Parade. It starts at 10:00 AM right on New York Ave. Make sure to come and enjoy the Christmas fun.
Kristin said on Sunday, December 4th will be a classic car show. This is for cars 79 and older. It will run from 12 – 4 PM on New York Ave between 9th & 10th Street right in front of City Hall. Prizes will be awarded at 3:00 pm on Sunday.
Jeanine added that on Sunday, December 4th there will be a Kid’s Holiday Fun Zone from 10 – 3 PM. There will be craft-making and Santa visits. It is located on New York Ave on the East side of the parking lot between 11th & 12th Street. Children of all ages are welcome to show off their talent. Craft chalk is available for a nominal purchase. Photos with Santa are available for a fee.
Winterfest Is Happening At The St. Cloud FL Civic Center On December 9th
Kristin said “Winterfest” will take place on Friday, December 9th from 6 – 9 PM. There will be tons of winter activities to enjoy including meeting Santa, a snow slide, holiday crafts, festive music, food vendors, and more. It will take place at the Saint Cloud Civic Center at 3001 17th Street in St. Cloud FL.
The next December holiday event is Saturday, December 10th from 11 – 4 PM. Christmas in the Cloud is hosted by Amazing Animals Inc. where you can meet Santa and Misses Claus. There will be food trucks, a petting zoo, an animal ambassador, and community vendors. The address is 4235 Rambler Ave in Saint Cloud.
Kristin added the next event on Saturday, December 10th the Women’s Club of Saint Cloud FL will be hosting a Cabaret called “Do You See What I See, It’s The Most Wonderful Time of The Year”. Come join us for this premier of this wonderful Cabaret.
There will be light snacks, desserts, a hot chocolate bar, and your favorite Christmas music that will be performed by some of the most talented performers in Central Florida. The first show will be on December 10th at 7:00 PM. The doors open at 6:30 PM. The second show is on December 11th at 3:00 PM show where the doors open at 2:30 PM. It is located at 1012 Massachusetts Ave in St. Cloud FL.
Goat Cuddles And Holiday Movies Every Friday And Saturday Night Throughout December
Jeanine has an interesting one for you, Goats and Movies. This will happen every Friday and Saturday night in December. Come join us for goat cuddles and holiday movies out on the farm. This is for all ages. Admission to the goat pasture starts at 5:15 pm. Bring your own chairs and blankets and grab a comfy spot in the pasture. The movie will start 10-15 minutes after sunset. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for kids. Children that are two and under are free. The address is 2365 Abshire Rd in Saint Cloud.
Kristin announced the next event on December 10th, 11th, 16th, 17th & 18th where we Light Up The Park. Join us once again as we light up the park. There will be lights, games, food, and fun from 6- 9 PM at Peghorn Nature Park. The cost is $5 per person ages two and up. The address is 2101 Peghorn Way in St. Cloud.
Tuesday, December 13th from 8-9 AM breakfast with the pros. This will be a series of informational sessions to help grow small businesses. These sessions will be held at the VFW Post on New York Ave in St. Cloud Jeanine stated.
Kristin said on Wednesday, December 14th from 5:30 – 7:00 PM Saint Cloud historic walking tours are going to start. The address is 903 Pennsylvania Ave in St. Cloud. Admission is $10. This guided walking tour will take you back in time to the early days of our city’s beginnings.
St. Cloud FL Monthly Market Is Back And Happening On December 14th
Jeanine then added an event happening later that night on Wednesday, December 14 the Ghost Tour in St. Cloud FL from 8 – 9:30 PM. Admission is $20. The location is 903 Pennsylvania Ave.
Kristin then added the downtown St. Cloud FL Monthly Market on Wednesday, December 14. She said it is so great to have it back and it will be so much fun around Christmas.
Jeanine then announced that Central Florida Interiors at 1200 Georgia Ave presents the annual Young Entrepreneur on Sunday, December 18th from 1 – 5 PM. For more information to sign up to be a vendor, text 407-744-8470. Entrepreneurs are ages 5 – 25.
Kristin added the following event which runs now through January 1st which is the Night of a Million Lights at Island H20 Water Park. Come see the luminous displays, tree-lined pathways, tunnels of light, and maybe even a little snow. The address is 3230 Inspiration Drive in Kissimmee, FL 34747. Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for kids.
Jeanine said on Wednesday, December 21st there will be an adult movie matinee. The feature film is Four Christmases starring Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn. That wraps up the Saint Cloud FL holiday events for December 2022.
Harmony FL December Holiday Events 2022
Jeanine stated by announcing that on Friday, December 9th from 5:30 – 9:00 PM is Harmony’s Winterfest in Square. They will have snow slides, train rides, photos with Santa, smores, horse and carriage rides, face painting, photo booths, do-it-yourself art, Christmas caroling, food trucks, letters to Santa, holiday inflatables and so much more.
Friday, December 16th starting at 6:30 PM will be a double feature for Harmony Movie Night. The first movie will be “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and then the movie “Elf” will air at 8:00 PM. It will be held in Harmony Town Square. There will be food trucks and don’t forget to bring your chairs and blankets.
Jeanine added that the next night, Saturday, December 17th will be Harmony’s Annual Golf Christmas Parade. Everyone will meet near the active adult club in The Lakes at 5:30 PM.
There will be Christmas in the Harmony FL Town Square on December 24th starting at 6:30 PM. Remember to bring your own chairs. They will have flameless candles, cookies, hot cocoa, and coffee. This is a nice event with a great Christmas message for all who attend.
