Video Podcast Of St Cloud FL Summer Events To Enjoy

Before we get to the fun summer events so Kristin wanted to do a follow-up on the St. Cloud girls soccer club that traveled to Texas for the regional championship. The team made it to the finals and ended up losing 4-3. They won’t be going to Nationals because of the loss but to finish as the runner-up in the entire Southeast region of the US is something to be very proud of and very cool.

The age group for the Regionals went up to 19 which could include some college players. The St. Cloud soccer team had a mixed bag of ages including a few 15-year-olds. They were one of three teams to make it to the finals in the regionals from the state of Florida. Congratulations to the team, they did well and should be proud!

Kristin said for the next event, by the time this podcast airs, you will have missed it but it’s the Karaoke Sunset Cruise. It will take place on Friday, July 1st. The cruises take place on the first and third Friday of every month. The Karaoke cruise happens occasionally so we will keep you posted on that. Definitely, a fun time to be had there. This cruise is $30 for adults and is open for ages 13 and up.

On July 2nd Harmony FL is having a golf cart parade which starts at 10:00 am and you meet up at the square. Then of course we have July 4th and the fireworks. Jeanine said St. Cloud does it big. It will start at 5:00 – 10:00 PM down by the lakefront by Crabby Bill’s. They always have food vendors and bring your chairs.

St. Cloud Community Center Hosts The Kid’s Summer Flick

Kristin said next up is the summer kids’ flick on July 12th from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Cloud community center. The feature film is Oliver and Company. This film is rated G. This is about a lost and lone kitten who joins a gang of dogs engaged in petty larceny in New York City.

Jeanine added the next event, which is on Friday, July 15th at 11:00 AM Bingo will be held at 311 Commerce Center Dr. which is at the community center in St. Cloud. This event is free.

Kristin said there will be another summer kid’s flick on July 19th from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Cloud community center. The featured film will be “Soul”. Joe is a middle-school band teacher whose life hasn't quite gone the way he expected. His true passion is jazz -- and he's good. But when he travels to another realm to help someone find their passion, he soon discovers what it means to have a soul.

Jeanine followed up by giving the next kid’s summer flick at the St. Cloud community center on July 26th starting at 10:30 am. The film will be “Brave”. The movie centers around a skilled archer who wants to carve out her own path in life. Her defiance of an age-old tradition angers the Highland lords and leads to chaos in the kingdom.
