Local Holiday Festivities In St. Cloud Florida For November And December With Jeanine Corcoran

Jeanine Corcoran broker of Corcoran Connect covers with co-host Kristin Macari the local holiday festivities happening in St. Cloud. This is part of our Discover St. Cloud Florida podcast series. Welcome to the 3rd episode of Discover St. Cloud Florida.

We will start with St. Thomas Aquinas on 700 Brown Rd in Saint Cloud. They are having a fall festival starting on Friday, November 12th, and running through the weekend. Friday’s festivities start at 5:00 pm and go to 9:00 pm where there will go food trucks.

The festivities continue into the weekend on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday runs from 9 am - 9 pm and Sunday run from 9 am – 5 pm. There will be games, food, dancing, entertainment, rummage sale, and other fun activities. The focus on Saturday will be Salsa dancing and Sunday’s focus is on the entire family.

Then there is the monthly St. Cloud downtown market event. And for the month of November, they will be running it a week early on Wednesday, November 17th from 5-9 pm. The November and December market events will focus on the Holidays so you will see a lot more Christmas vendors.

There are so many great local vendors for people to support. There are vendors who do handmade soaps, woodworking, jewelry, home décor, and so many more. One of our favorite local vendors is Gypsy Waves Studio.

The Local Vendors In St. Cloud Are Amazing Especially Around The Holidays

Hart Art is another local vendor where Jeanine purchased an early Christmas present for somebody. They hand paint everything there and do custom orders which is what Jeanine had done. She loved what they did for her.

Z & Q is a children’s boutique store in downtown Saint Cloud on New York Avenue, and they have a mailbox for letters to Santa. All of the letters put into their mailbox actually get a response from Santa himself.

We also wanted to give everything a preview for what’s to come in December in St. Cloud leading up to Christmas. On Friday, December 3rd there will be the Christmas Tree Lighting in downtown Saint Cloud right in front of City Hall. There will be singing, crafts, and even an Elf Driving School.

The next big event in December is on Saturday, December 4th and it is the St. Cloud Christmas Parade which is put on by the Chamber of Commerce. This is a big event for our city and it’s fun and helps our downtown businesses.

On Dec. 10th and 11th from 6 pm – 9 pm is the “One Night in Bethlehem” event on Michigan and 19th. This will be a drive-through experience about the Christmas story. This event is put on by the St. Cloud Church of The Nazarene. They have over 70 cast members and live animals as well.

Bluegrass Jam At Peghorn Park In Saint Cloud, FL

Saturday, December 11th  from 11 am – 1 pm there will be a Bluegrass Jam at The Peghorn Park. They will have live acoustic bluegrass music in the Cannery in Peghorn Park.

Christmas in the Cloud will take place on Saturday, December 11th, and is hosted by Amazing Animals Inc on 4235 Rambler Ave in St. Cloud. There will be over 100 exotic animals and a $10 charge per person and under two is free. They are offering $2.00 off for first responders and the military.

Wednesday, December 15th at noon there will be a free Christmas movie matinee featuring “It’s a Wonderful Life” and “Scrooged”. This will be held at the Saint Cloud Community Center.

The monthly downtown St. Cloud Market Event will happen on Wednesday, December 15th from 5 pm – 9 pm. This market event features some great vendors and businesses and of course this one will be focused on Christmas. Come out and support your local businesses in St. Cloud.

Take A Whimsical Walk At The “Light Up The Cloud” Holiday Event

Finally, on December 17th – 23rd from 6 pm – 10 pm, there will be the “Light Up The Cloud” event in Peghorn Nature Park. Join us for a whimsical walk along the trail under a canopy of holiday lights. There will be a $5.00 charge per person. They will have hot beverages, cookies, singing, and Holiday cheer for the whole family.
